Mike Starr is an accomplished, innovative, and experienced drummer and teacher with an extensive background in playing teaching and recording with a diverse portfolio of musicians. Mike consistently leveraged his knowledge and skills in supporting and enhancing performance. Mike is recognized as a collaborative communicator capable of cultivating critical partnerships to promote cohesive bands practices. With over 40 years of playing hundreds of recordings sessions and numerus successful student/professional drummers.

 

As an Adjunct professor at the prestigious Berklee Global Jazz Institute, Mike utilizes proven method for improving your drum skills without wandering aimlessly and banging on the drums. Mike's programs are teaching Music Concepts with the emphasis on drums. He will not waste your time with hours of practice and details while paying for endless lessons. Mike utilizes music sessions of 2 to 3 hours per session.
